Networking opportunities

The Stronger Together Network Meetings in 2019 will be held in May, September and November in the large meeting room in Communities 1st St Albans office, Civic Centre, St Peter’s Street, St Albans AL1 3JE

There are 6 Stronger Together Networks:

Beginning with the Mental Health Network on Tuesday 3rd September, a positive and welcoming network of mental health providers, facilitating meetings, networking, sharing of ideas and discussions of best practice to meet the needs of their service users.

 

The Children & Young People Network is on Tuesday 10th September, a new network to provide space for organisations working to support and help children & young people to meet, network, create and share information and ideas across county.

 

The Transport Network will be on Wednesday 11th September , an informative and informal network of local community transport organisations, providing a great networking and information sharing opportunity and a forum to discuss provision of the different services provided within local schemes.

 

The Older People Network will be on Tuesday 17th September, a welcoming space for organisations working with older people to network, to share ideas, activities, and promote good physical and mental health and well-being, reduce isolation and loneliness so older people may live healthy and meaningful lives.

 

The Culture and Environment Network will be on Tuesday 24th September, a new network giving a fantastic opportunity for museums, theatres, cinemas, galleries, parks and leisure centres to come together, share information about their facilities, work and network.

 

And last but by no means least, the Disability Network will be held on Wednesday 25th September, a fantastic opportunity for organisations working to help people with disabilities in the locality to come together, network, share information about their services, facilities and discuss ideas.
