This role is a specialist one, discussed and agreed with Trustees, for example on Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, IT, Social Media, Legal, Health & Safety, Dementia Awareness. This involves provision of specialistadvice and practical guidance and support to enhance RCG’s services in line with the current business plan.

Full Description:
Key responsibilities:
• To advise Trustees on specific matters arising from the
business and action plans according to own area of expertise.
• To act in line with the values and policies of RCG.
Specific skills
• Ability to seek out further information, share with trustees and make recommendations.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills and a willingness to work remotely when required.
• Ability to tailor advice and recommendations to the current and future needs of RCG.
Capabilities:
• Ability to consider options and make recommendations based on RCG purpose, business plan and any specific brief (if applicable).
• Understanding of the Vision, Mission and Values of RCG
and the resources available.
• Reliability, flexibility and creativity (when required).
• Ability to recognise the need for confidentiality and maintain this when required.
• Able to work in collaboration with others (if required) and seek their input and approval.
• Future focused to support the sustainability of RCG.
• Understanding of the local community (preferable).
